Here are links to basic resources that have been helpful to me:
ORGANIZATIONS:
Romance Writers of America is where I got my start. You don’t have to be writing romance to learn from this fabulous group. Join at the national level and then find a local chapter chock full of mentors.
Georgia Romance Writers is one of RWA’s local chapters and produces one of the top regional writing conferences in the U.S.
American Christian Fiction Writers is a dedicated group that focuses on inspirational fiction. They have links to a lot of information, workshops, and a great annual conference.
The Authors Guild is a great advocacy organization for authors. Services provided include contract reviews.
